New Website Launched for SleepOut/SleepIn 2018!
The Lord’s Place is proud to announce a brand new website for our SleepOut/SleepIn event to be held on April 6, 2018: sleepouttlp.com.
“We are so excited to unveil this new site.” said Meredith Fontenot, Advancement Services Coordinator for the Lord’s Place. “It has a wide feature set to make participating and donating easier than ever before. We’ve streamlined the Donation and Registration Processes so that they’re as fast and as user friendly as possible. Also, we’ve added great visual components like graphical leaderboards with thumbnail images plus visual editing tools to make editing your fundraising page(s) fun and easy.”
The new site was custom created by Nth Degree Media and Management Group, Inc. (nthdegreegroup.net) as the basis for a new event participation & fundraising platform, DonorPowered.com. Nth Degree has graciously donated half of the development time and labor costs to The Lord’s Place, along with entering into a mini Social Enterprise with the organization: A portion of every software installation, new account or software license from DonorPowered.com will be donated to The Lord’s Place to help end homelessness in Palm Beach County, even beyond our amazing SleepOut event!
One of the most important integrations is the addition of SleepIn to the normal registration process. “SleepIn is a way to participate to help end homelessness even if you can’t attend our SleepOut event.” noted Diana Stanley, President of The Lord’s Place.
“With SleepIn integrated in our site, you can easily create a team or participate as an individual just as you can for SleepOut. Then, you can SleepIn your own home while still raising money for a great cause and have a lot of fun while you’re doing it!”
Another new aspect to the site is “My Launchpad” that provides a starting point for Participants and Team Captains to get fundraising tips, copy-and-paste email text (ready to send for easy fundraising) and so much more.
